All you want to know beforehand
Will the edges damage my garden hose?
No. Every support edge is deburred and rounded by hand after laser cutting. The hose rests on a round surface, precisely the step that is missing in cheap sheet metal holders.
Do I have to drill?
Yes, the Garden Dock is attached to the wall with four screws. This is intentional: the wall bears the weight and the tap remains unburdened. There are four small holes that can be easily filled later.
Does the Garden Dock rust?
No. Solid V2A stainless steel, the standard material for facades and outdoor railings. In the presence of road salt or sea air, flash rust from the surroundings may deposit; simply wipe it off, the steel remains unharmed.
Does my hose fit?
1/2 inch and 3/4 inch up to 20 m, flex hose up to 30 m. For more, we recommend two Garden Docks next to each other.
Does it hold the weight, and what about the faucet?
The four screws in the wall bear the entire weight. The faucet is only guided through the opening and remains completely unloaded. A full 20-m hose weighs 3 kg. Therefore, please always mount it on the wall and do not leave it hanging permanently on the faucet.
What goes in the box?
Garden Dock in your chosen color, four stainless steel screws, and illustrated instructions including a thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) note. You don't need a template; the holder itself serves as one. We deliberately do not include wall plugs: the type that holds well varies greatly from concrete to ETICS. The instructions will tell you which ones you need for your wall.
Can it stay outside in winter?
Yes, stainless steel is frost-resistant. Just empty the hose before the first frost or remove the dock by the handle and store it in the garage.
Where are the products manufactured?
At a metal construction company in Southern Germany. Lasered, edged, brushed, deburred by hand. We are regularly on-site.
